Trapèze
Jean Prouvé, 1950/1954

The Trapèze table was originally developed for the Cité Universitaire in Antony near Paris and
numbers among the final pieces created by the French ‚constructeur‘ Jean Prouvé in the area of furniture design.
The name of the table refers to the distinctive shapeof its paired legs,
which are constructed from bent sheet steel.
Together with the thick, obliquely canted edges of the table top,
they emphasise the solid appearance of the construction.

Material :
Table top - high-pressure laminate, black surface coating.
Base (legs and crossbeam) - bent sheet steel, powder-coated in black.



Trapèze 테이블은 원래 파리 근처 안토니에 있는 Cité Universitaire를 위해 개발되었으며
가구 디자인 분야에서 프랑스 건축가 Jean Prouvé가 만든 최종 작품 중 하나입니다.
테이블의 이름은 구부러진 강판으로 구성된 쌍으로 된 다리의 독특한 모양을 나타냅니다.
테이블 상단의 두껍고 비스듬히 구부러진 가장자리와 함께, 그들은 구조의 견고한 외관을 강조합니다.
