Round Table
Low table is an object first shown at New Work, a solo exhibition by Muller Van Severen back in 2014.
Although the exhibition mainly consisted of glossy lacquer surfaces,
Muller Van Severen presented three polyethylene tables on the side,
mounted on rusted steel and red lacquered steel threshes.
Together with ‘low table’ and ‘long table’, this ‘round table’ shows
the continuation of Muller Van Severen’s fascination for the material polyethylene.
It is a soft and tactile plastic, when cut through, the texture of the material really comes forward. It is all handwork done in Belgium.

로우 테이블은 2014년 Muller Van Severen의 개인전인 New Work에서 처음 선보인 오브제입니다.
전시회는 주로 광택이 나는 옻칠 표면으로 구성되었지만 Muller Van Severen은
녹슨 강철과 빨간색 락커칠한 철 위에 장착된 세 개의 폴리에틸렌 테이블을 측면에 선보였습니다.
낮은 테이블 및 긴 테이블과 함께 이 원형 테이블은 폴리에틸렌 소재에 대한 Muller Van Severen의 매력의 연속을 보여줍니다.
부드럽고 촉감이 좋은 플라스틱으로, 자르면 재료의 질감이 실제로 앞으로 나타납니다.
테이블 다리가 사선형으로 만들어지기 때문에 다소 흔들림이 있을 수 있습니다.
테이블 상판과 다리는 분리하실 수 없습니다.
모두 벨기에에서 수공업으로 제작됩니다.(제작기간 8~10 주 소요)
